Timeline

  1. Where it was stuck

    Everything was high priority

The client had a long, unprioritized task list and couldn't agree on the order, because everything was important. I scoped, priced, and ran the workshop, and turned its output into a prioritized list, with the reasoning for each item.

  2. Step 1

    What the business really needs

I identified the core business needs and put everyone's priorities on the table, including the ones people had only written down for themselves.

  3. Step 2

    Roles and order

Everyone wanted something different. I ended circular debates and guided the group to an order everyone agreed on.

  4. Step 3

    How to keep working

I advised on managing the backlog, the roadmap, and new features, and explained the full product development cycle.

  5. Result

    Agreement on priorities

Leadership, engineering, and marketing agreed on the order of priorities and next tasks. WPP built more projects on this work.
